About GDL

    Green Day Land started on April 27th 2007 when I went over my friends house and we wanted to make a website.  The site was jsut a place where we could post some info about Green Day.  But from the begining Green Day Land ment something totally different to me. 
   
    After a few months my friend kinda got bored or the site so now Green Day Land was all mine.  After dealing with a great loss of my cousin Dawn I just was so upset.  Dawn Engel died on Easter Sunday after a long illness.   I didn't want to talk to anyone about it  because I wanted to deal with it in my own way.  So I remembered her once saying that she liked Green Day.  So from that day on Green Day Land would be dedicated in Dawn's honor. 

    Dawn was a person who would listen to anything that you wanted to talk about and was always there for you. The one thing that she did really enjoy was teaching people about Virtues and Vices.  Its one thing that she really wanted people to know about and she went all over to schools and tons of other places to tell people her feelings on it. 

    I will now leave you with a quote from Dawn, "The only thing that matters in life is that you have some impact in someone else's life"
